HEIFERS HIT €2000 AT KILMALLOCK. 850 Cattle and calves were sold at Kilmallock Mart this week. Calves and light stores continue to be a great trade. Heavier lots are somewhat slower due to lower factory quotes. Bullocks made up to €1950 each or €4.13 per kg. Dry cows hit €1990 each or €3.07 per kg. Heifers sold for up to €2000 a head or €4.59 per kg. Dairy stock made up to €1940 each. Calves made up to €870 this week. Wednesday May 27 th is the last evening calf sale of the year. Wednesday Night Calf Sale continues this week intake from 1pm sale starts at 5.30pm.
