530 Cattle were sold at Kilmallock Mart on Monday Last. Bullocks less than 550kgs sold for up to €1880 each or €4.06 per kg. Heavy Bullocks hit €2600 a head or €4.00 per kg. Dry cows sold for up to €2260 each or €3.17 per kg. Heifers less than 500kgs made up to €1650 each or €3.96 per kg. Heavier heofers sold for up to €2310 a head or €3.41 per kg. An entry of 7 Dairy stock sold for up to €2300. Heavy Bulls made up to €2920 a head or €3.20 per kg. Runners sold for up to €1190 each, up to €500 was paid for young calves. Tuesday 11 th of August a Weanling Show and Sale will take place at 6pm.
