BIG LIFT IN CATTLE PRICES AT KILMALLOCK MART. 550 cattle were sold at Kilmallock Mart this week. Cattle of all types were much improved this week. Bullocks less than 550kgs sold for up to €1990 a head or €3.9 per kg. Heavy Bullocks made up to €2880 each or €3.38 per kg. Dry Cows sold for up to €2410 ech or €3.41 per kg. Heifers less than 500kgs made up to €1740 a head or €4.50 per kg. Heavier heifers hit €2550 each or €4.05 per kg. Heavy Bulls sold for up to €3000 each. Runners sold for for up to €930 each. Young calves sold for up to €510 each.
